Opinions aside about the anti-Chinese rhetoric and the problematic nature of all user privacy stuff (from all social media, not just tiktok)..
It’s becoming very likely that this will happen, but what really matters is 1) who will actually purchase it; if anyone at all and 2) will they make it better, stay the same, or worsen it.
New “leadership” always shakes things up, so I imagine Tiktok would look different after a sale.
